Meridian Content is an award-winning film production and service company based in Los Angeles and New York. Our work has been shown around the world, from theaters across America, to moving billboards in China, to Cannes, Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, and Toronto film festivals. We have produced feature films, commercials, brand stories, series, music videos, virtual reality, and while we have collaborated with many here at home in the United States, we have worked with even more abroad. Our objective is to commit to both our clients and passion projects with the same creative drive and dedication to craft, chasing every opportunity and mining every efficiency so that the artists we serve can realize their intentions to the highest degree. And with all of our endeavors, we pride ourselves in being able to find that sometimes elusive waypoint between art, commerce, and differing cultures, aligning the elements towards a single resonant vision. In the commercial space, Meridian operates as both company of record and production services company, with a specialization in Asian co-productions. Past partners include McCann, BBDO, BBH, JWT, Leo Burnett, Gwantsi Productions (Shanghai), Eagle Media (Shanghai), and Picture Perfect (Mumbai). Brands include AT & T, Chevrolet, Diesel, Jeep, Kiehl's, Mercedes, Mountain Dew, Nestlé, Princess Cruises, Timberland, and Thums Up (Coca-Cola). In the narrative space, Meridian Content has produced almost a dozen short films that have played Sundance, SXSW, and Tribeca to name a few. In 2017, the company produced the feature film OH LUCY! alongside Gloria Sanchez Productions (BOOKSMART, HUSTLERS) with executive producers Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. The film was directed by Atsuko Hirayanagi, starred Shinobu Terajma and Josh Hartnett, and had its world premiere at Cannes Critics Week. It was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards, including Best First Feature, and was sold to Elle Driver / Wild Bunch for international distribution.
