Alissa Wood is an Emmy®, Cine Golden Eagle®, Telly® and Gracie® Award-winning director, writer and producer. For Alissa, creating media is a collaborative adventure and she approaches each production as a partnership between the clients who help define a project's goals, the people who openly share their stories, the crew who captures and shapes these moments, and the audience who experiences the production. Alissa’s documentaries have explored premature births, clean energy, senior citizen and teen driving, diversity, and arts and culture. Alissa has directed, written and produced commercials as well as corporate and educational videos for clients including Beyond Benign, Pfizer and United Technologies Corporation. As the executive producer of Meridian Lights, Alissa works across a spectrum of media and industries so that she can draw upon a wide range of experiences to deliver exceptional results. And she always looks for opportunities to integrate and market media to expand the reach of the message. Alissa graduated magna cum laude from Boston University.
