We (John and Lisa Merrill) are travel and social impact photographers who create images to evoke wonder, inspire action and strengthen communities Our cameras are tools for connection and impact. With each click of our shutter a fleeting moment is preserved, and a story is told. Our work is featured in books and magazines around the world, and the websites and other communications of destinations, travel and outdoor adventure companies, and non-profits. We're represented by Getty Images and Danita Delimont Stock Photography. As photo educators, we enjoy helping people nurture creativity and strengthen visual storytelling skills. We lead online workshops for individuals, families, camera clubs, and cohorts we assemble each quarter. Our Pacific Northwest PhotoWalks are fun Seattle-area opportunities for inspiration and learning, with follow-up photo sharing via Zoom Our photo tours are developed in partnership with companies that share our commitment to travel as a force for good. 2023 and 2024 experiences include Mexico and Ladakh with Global Family Travels, Alaska and Baja with UnCruise Adventures, Vietnam with Secret Indochina, and rafting the Yampa in Utah with Holiday River. We’re a proud member of the North American Nature Photography Association, and a Transformative Travel Council Ally.
