The Merrymeeting Group (MMG) was founded in 2001 in Cleveland, Ohio. Since its inception, MMG has focused on the acquisition and development of intellectual property driven businesses in the franchising, technology and B-To-B service sectors. By developing platforms of inter-related businesses, we have been able to successfully develop significant efficiencies and management expertise in these specific markets and thereby achieve superior profit margins. In the day-to-day operation of our business, we focus on adhering to our Core Values. We have combined this operating style with a long-term investment and management philosophy that is predicated upon the assumption that, unlike private equity groups, we will use our own capital to acquire and develop businesses with no plans to exit “down the road”. As a result, we are not driven by either short-term financial objectives or the need to satisfy third-party investors.
