MET sells custom motors around the world, but our major customers are centered in the U.S. and Canada. Because we have a wide variety of customers, MET has designed for a broad array of applications such as fan & blower drives, electric wheelchairs, door & gate openers, solar water pumps, over-the-road refrigeration trucks, and other consumer, industrial, and military applications. OEMs that choose PMDC motors usually do so because they are battery powered, reversible, variable in speed, and / or smaller in size and weight.
