The survey, first of its kind, attempts to provide monthly health report of the Indian base metal industry. Under the survey, data is collated every month on indicators like sales, inventories, orders, cost of logistics, gross margins, scrap discounts, refined premiums etc. from participants across the value chain of base metals. Refined as well as scrap streams of the industry participate in the survey. All round participation helps getting a holistic picture of the industry and also enables segmental analysis. Survey seeks to explore the trend of the industry without asking for quantitative data. Unique features of the survey: 1. The survey is focussed on the base metal industry in India 2.
