Metek

Metek is an architecture and design firm, co-founded in 2001 in New York by Sarah Bitter and has been based in Paris since 2004. Metek is involved in contemporary creation, whether in architecture, interior fittings, furniture, film production, multidisciplinary artistic collaborations. The Metek agency is recognized by institutions such as the Louvre-Lens (acquisition of the Rolling Design House in 2020), the Saint Etienne International Design Biennial (winner of the call for projects ‘banc d’essai’ in 2019), the MAC VAL (projection of "Enchanted Crimée, a Multistoried Architecture" at the Night of Museums 2018) the City of Architecture,(exhibition" Towards new social housing "2012), the Ministry of Culture ( nomination General Public Prize for architecture 2004), the 'Pavillon de l'Arsenal',(exhibition “Le paris des maisons” 2004). The agency’s projects are widely published in the mainstream and professional press. Metek remains committed to individuals and the general public (participation in ‘Journées A vivre’ since 2003).
