Metis Coaching and Training is committed to exceptional public service - to make Australia a better place to live and work. We offer contemporary solutions designed to make tangible impacts for public sector agencies. We do this by partnering with our clients to tailor bespoke solutions to their needs. Our services include: • training programs – tailored to real public sector workplaces and specific classification levels from graduates to Senior Executive Service • coaching – to support individuals successfully navigate and thrive in the contemporary public sector • mentoring – for those who prefer more direct workplace and career guidance, and • facilitation – for agencies, groups, teams. Our services are richly informed by our extensive public sector experience. We've worked at every APS level from graduate through to SES Band 2, with a combined 20 years in the SES. We have worked in fast-paced policy, program and corporate areas across large and small agencies. Our experience includes overseas posts representing the Australian Govt at the OECD in Paris, the Pentagon in Washington DC and the International Labour Organisation in Geneva. We are also mothers, with decades of experience managing demanding professional lives with our parenting and other caring responsibilities. Metis was the Greek goddess of wisdom, representing intelligence, good counsel, skill and sound thinking. With age comes wisdom! We’ve experienced successes, failures and everything in between over our long careers – and we're uniquely placed to draw on this knowledge in supporting others on their public sector journey.
