Metis Group

Metis Group is a student-run, non-profit group which aims to provide career insights, educational and instructional material in the Finance/Banking and Accounting sectors, by Students who want to provide their help for free. The Metis Group derived its name from the Greek mythology's goddess “Metis” who symbolizes wisdom, and good counsel. It also represents the Greek-Cypriot roots the founders of Metis Group have. The founders of Metis Group (Andreas Stavrinos, Michalis Koutsoftas and Andreas Peleteos) have built long lasting friendships over the years, and partnered together to form Metis Group. Our vision is to provide assistance to students who- Struggle to kickstart a career in Finance/Accounting/Banking- Struggle to find the correct resources to stand out from other applicants in the application process- Want to obtain general application tips (CV tips, Interview tips & resources and many more!)- Wants to broaden or refresh Technical and Theoretical knowledge in Financial Services industry- Want to network and build relationships with like minded individuals. The core values that Metis Group stands for are Transparency, Integrity, Development and Support. Hence, we guarantee every student that takes time to read our content that even If we are not professionals, every piece of content we upload goes through research and a validation process. All members in the group share the same values and put maximum effort to provide the best content.
