In 1984, Metran pioneered the use of High Frequency Oscillatory (HFO) ventilation for premature neonates with the birth of the HUMMING Bird. Since that time, our company has been at the forefront of ventilatory technology, developing new and unique products that meet the various clinical needs of customers worldwide. As a company focused on research and development, we have succeeded in developing easy-to-use products with very sophisticated functions using unique technology, all developed in-house. The company's objective has consistently been to utilise the most advanced Japanese technology and quality standards to develop products that can be relied upon.
