The Metrapanel system was developed to create a frameless interior wall, floor and ceiling system which replaces timber-frame and plaster-board. Homes built using the Metrapanel system are constructed by Certified Installers throughout New Zealand of which a group are Lifemark Accredited Partners. Metrapanel’s solid 7.35m wood panels means there is less jointing than would be found under timber-framing and plasterboard systems - the homeowner gets the advantage of smooth, strong and durable walls, resulting in extensive cost maintenance savings over time – also perfect for retirement villages, social housing, and class-rooms. Plus Metrapanel helps maximise the available floor-space in a home by up to 6%. In relation to the ‘Preventing Falls from Height’ legislation, Metrapanel provides a ‘Department of Labour endorsed solution’ for the safest working ceiling platform, which then remains in place and becomes part of the house.
