metro-grafix is an independent advertising, graphic design and communications firm created in 2006. Based in the Dallas area, we serve clients throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area and across the U.S. Our clients span a diverse range of industries and include: municipalities, spas, realtors, developers, retailers, professional service providers, restaurants, manufacturers, nonprofits and more. At metro-grafix, we love beautiful visuals and words, but fully understand that just “making something pretty” doesn’t mean it’s going to get results. Great marketing requires business experience and an understanding of the relationship between good design/marketing/communications and the bottom line! metro-grafix owner Laura Kayata is an award-winning graphic designer and an experienced marketing and communications expert. Early in her career, Laura worked in advertising - on the other side of the camera - as a model with the prestigious Manhattan-based Eileen Ford Agency. Later in her career, Laura served as the Marketing Manager for the City of McKinney’s Tourism Services, the Director of Marketing and Communications for the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and as Vice-President of Marketing and Communications for DFW Spa Importers. In these positions, she managed everything from graphic design to branding, advertising, marketing communications and public relations. She has also served as Art Director for numerous magazines in the health/beauty/spa industry.
