Metronomix Studios

Metronomix Studios is a music composition studio based in Manchester, UK and is owned and run by Max McGuire, an award-winning composer for film, TV and games. As one of his roles as assistant to LA-based composer Stephen Barton, Max recently worked as an orchestrator on EA/Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The score was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London. Max also provided additional music for Mysterious Planet – a 5 part nature documentary produced by NHNZ for Discovery Channel. Max’s music has been featured in projects from all over the world including various American television networks such as E, NBC, FOX, Amazon Prime Video, Discovery Channel, Youku and Netflix. His soundtrack for the video game, ‘Melancholy Republic’, was recently featured on Classic FM in Jessica Curry’s ‘High Score’ show. In 2018, Max recorded and conducted his score for ‘All The World’s A Stage’ also at the renowned Abbey Road. The film was narrated by Olivia Colman and went on to be selected for the Academy Awards-qualifying festival, Hollyshorts and the BAFTA-qualifying Raindance festival. Max has been honoured with his first Music Production Association award for Best Film Trailer Music at the fourth annual Mark Awards ceremony in Hollywood. ‘Breathtaking Journey’ was composed as a contribution to music library, 5 Alarm Music’s, hit production album ‘World’s Collide’. McGuire also scored the short film ‘Lili’ that went on to win Best Short Film at the London Cinematic Film Festival. A variety of US TV production companies have used McGuire’s music for shows such as 12 Monkeys, The New Celebrity Apprentice, Coupled, Hunted, Making It, and Mariah’s World.
