Metropolis Services is a specialised materials placement provider operating in the Civil Construction, Renewable energy, landscape, gas and petroleum industries. Metropolis utilises stone slingers / rock slingers to place gravel, mulch, soil and sand to places which would be difficult or dangerous to reach using traditional earth moving means. We are used extensively to place sand in cable trenches, backfill large bio filters, top soil steep batters and to back-fill trenches and underground tank installations. Our machinery can place material up to 40 metres away at a rate of up to 1100 tonnes per day.
