METROPOLITAN MINISTRIES- HOPE IS HERE We’re a local, independent, faith-based nonprofit committed to providing hope. We’ve been doing it since 1972. Our services for poor and homeless families are here in Tampa Bay. We are committed to providing answers that: • Help prevent homelessness • Ease hunger • Offer life-changing answers leading to self-sufficiency • Support to transition back into our community MISSION STATEMENT To care for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency. as an expression of the ongoing ministry of Jesus Christ.
