Metu Ift Student Chapter

Since 1939, IFT is an international non-profit professional organization that has been advancing food science and its implementation across the global food system through the development of a dynamic platform where people from more than 95 countries can collaborate, learn, and develop, translating scientific knowledge into creative solutions for the benefit of people around the world. As a METU IFT, we are the first and only student chapter of IFT in Turkiye. As a visioned scientific society together, we are building a world in which science and engineering are widely seen as key to a healthy, nutritious, and sustainable food supply for all. We are committed to helping our members and expanding their knowledge and career development. We are committed to exploring solutions to the problems facing humanity as regards food and to continual improvement and to working for innovation of food.
