Metu Rover

Founded in 2018 under the Middle East Technical University (METU) Machinery and Innovation Society, METU Rover is a student team specializing in the development of space exploration vehicles. Our team unites students from engineering, fundamental sciences, and design disciplines, fostering a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to innovation. We actively prepare for renowned competitions such as the European Rover Challenge (ERC) and the Anatolian Rover Challenge (ARC), striving not only to deliver advanced projects but also to build an innovative ecosystem that motivates young individuals to pursue their interests in space exploration. At METU Rover, we are committed to pushing boundaries—not only by designing advanced exploration robots but also by fostering technologies that support national industrial growth and pioneering advancements in space science.
