Mexportools

Mexportools is an association of four mold manufacturing companies from Portugal (Ribermold, TJ-Moldes, Moldit y Moldworld) and two public technical investigation centers from Mexico (CIATEQ Y CIDESI), with the purpose of providing a full range of tooling services in Mexico: engineering and quick prototyping, mold design, mold manufacturing (in Mexico or Portugal), mold sampling and all mold services, like engineering changes, repairs, spare parts manufacturing and tool maintenance. The manufacturing operation in Mexico started on June 2019 with all the equipment for mold manufacturing and all tooling services. The plant is located in San Luis Potosí and it has a total of sq.mts production area with a team of 17 technicians all trained in Portugal (including 3 expats from our Portuguese plants). It counts with a full equipped metrology laboratory on-site for a full dimensional validation of the parts as well as moulding machines for trials up to 400 Tons. Full engineering support, mold design and mould manufacturing on our plants in Portugal is also available to respond to all tooling needs required in Mexico.
