Mezala is an Egyptian NGO Registered under No 8669 in the ministry of social Solidarity established in April 2012 by Aga Khan Cultural Services-Egypt Company Mainly to continue the achievements and build up on the gained experience from El Darb Al Ahmar revitalization projects Mezala inherited experiences in the fields of social, economic, and physical development for more than 10 years resulted in successful achievements, challenges and build new projects aimed sustainable development for people in Cairo, Especially The marginalized class in the slums in all economic and social fields Therefore, Mezala is focusing on expanding its scope of activities and interventions covering all historical Cairo with a great focus on sustainability through the transfer of experience to the civil society organizations.
