The company main specialization is the maintenance and repair of gas engines for CHP plants. Over the years, after consolidating skills on gas engines, MF Service has concentrated on deepening skills on all mechanical and electrical equipment (BoP). Continuous technological and application updates on CHP plants, with emphasis on the use of alternative fuels, such as palm oil, rapeseed oil, biogas, animal fat, etc, have been an incentive and a challenge in taking technical knowledge to a higher level. The approach to engines powered by liquid fuels, and thus using the diesel cycle as a principle of operation, has allowed MF Service to enter significantly into the marine market, with a focus on 4 stroke engines for main propulsion and diesel generator applications. The ability and desire to expand its market, while maintaining a consistent line with its technical and professional attitude, allowed MF Service to include within its business the supply of spare parts for engines of marine and industrial application. In 2023, MF Service has set the goal of replicating its activities on marine propulsion systems as well, to offer an even wider range of services.
