MIA-Portugal (Multidisciplinary Institute of Ageing) is the 1st research institute in Southern Europe focused on the molecular and biological basis of ageing. MIA-Portugal aims to attract outstanding researchers and their teams to produce excellent science on the molecular and biological basis of ageing. MIA-Portugal is the first research institute in Southern Europe focused on the molecular and biological basis of ageing. The excellent science in ageing or age-related disorders will supply health innovation and knowledge transfer, creating business opportunities for the region. MIA-Portugal will improve the health and wellbeing of an ageing population. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 857524.
