Born in the United States, the pianist, singer, composer and producer traveled the world in his studies, but it was in Brazil that he found a voice for his songs. In twenty years of traveling back and forth between his country of birth and that of his heart, the artist tread a musical trajectory that translates into more than 50 tracks released on all digital music platforms, in addition to having a substantial presence on social media, with more than 100 thousand followers on Instagram. Known for his lyrics that weave emotional stories, Michael Anthony – who is also a music therapist – makes the songs a space to work his own emotions as much as those of the listeners, who quickly identify with the authenticity of the feelings exposed in the song. Bio Michael Anthony Lahue is an American pianist, singer, composer, arranger and producer, arranjador e produtor of Música Popular Brasileira (Brazilian Popular Music). Through his label, Arabutã World Music, LLC, he has released more than 50 tracks on all digital music platforms, including two albums, four EP’s and nine singles, in addition to having a substantial presence on social media, with more than 100 thousand followers on Instagram. With a post-baccalaureate and Master’s in Music Therapy, the artist is also a clinician in two hospitals in New Jersey, where he lives with his wife and three children. He facilitates the Montello Method for Performance Wellness in wellness workshops for musicians and performing artists, which combines creative arts therapies, yoga and behavioral medicine. He is also an influencer of the clothing brand prAna and a vegan activist, and has three crowdfunding campaigns on the sites APOIA.se, Patreon and GoFundMe.
