Michael S. Goldstein, Esq, LCSW, an Attorney admitted in New York and Florida, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and adoptive father of three has been practicing adoption law for 30+ years and has helped thousands of adoptive families and birth parents around the world create permanent, loving families through adoption. He has been involved with over 2,500 successful adoptions which include domestic, agency, international (both incoming and outgoing), readoption, single parent, two parent, second parent, and foster care adoptions. In 2007 Michael and his wife, Joy, co-founded “Forever Families Through Adoption, Inc,” a NY and CT licensed adoption placement agency and resource center. Michael is a Founding Member and current Sustaining Fellow, of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys a founding member of New York Attorneys for Adoption and Family Formation (NYAAFF); a Fellow of the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys Founder of the Foster Teen Employment Network (FTEN); Governor Emeritus and Legal Advisor of the Adoptive Parents Committee; Sustaining Partner of the Joint Council on International Children’s Services; and Board Member of New York State Citizens Coalition for Children In 2006 Michael was the recipient of the prestigious Congressional “Angels in Adoption” Award. He is also one of only three attorneys in the United States approved to provide Hague international adoption services.
