Producing Theatre and Entertainment Events in Australia Michelle Guthrie Presents commenced in 2021 with the World Premiere of Carmel Dean’s Well Behaved Women at Hayes Theatre Co in Sydney, playing to sold out crowds and receiving five star reviews. In 2022 Michelle Guthrie Presents produced Nice Work If You Can Get It at Hayes Theatre Co, again to sell-out audiences, which went on to be nominated for six Sydney Theatre Awards, winning two. Michelle created Neglected Musicals in 2010 which has presented 25 musicals that have rarely or never been seen in Australia. In conjunction with Randwick City Council, she and Michael Idato produce the annual Coogee Carols, now in its 22nd year, bringing a special Christmas to the people of Sydney. Over 30 years Michelle has worked extensively as a publicist, manager, casting consultant, communications consultant and producer. A founding board member for Hayes Theatre Co, Michelle has been associate producer on many productions and has managed the media for many major musicals and international artists including Cyndi Lauper, Barry Humphries, Bernadette Petters, Kristen Chenoweth and The Dali Lama.
