Darum eignet sich dieser auch hervorragend für den Bau von Brücken, Industrieanlagen und Straßen. Betonerzeugnisse wie Dach- und Pflastersteine, Gehwegplatten, Eisenbahnschwellen, Treppen oder Teile für Fertighäuser macht der Quarz-Sand aus der Eifel haltbar und stabil. Durch Aufgrund seiner gleich bleibenden weißlichen Färbung wird der Quarz-Sand auch bevorzugt für Produktion von Sichtbetonplatten eingesetzt.
