MICOPEIA is an all natural and organic wellness and skincare line, founded and formulated by community herbalist Rashon A. Massey. Building upon ancient recipes and production processes that date back many generations, passed down to Rashon while studying under the tutelage of pioneer herbalists to help lessen the associated symptoms and inflammation resulting from his Schwannomatosis (a condition where individuals develop non-malignant tumors on the linings of nerves), MICOPEIA launched for online retail sales in January 2019. Handcrafting premium and affordable wellness and beauty care that’s convenient and reliable, at MICOPEIA our products are a reflection of our heritage, and in a world that’s constantly changing, taking care of ourselves and each other is a tradition that shouldn’t have to be compromised. MICOPEIA’s mission is to provide premium, affordable and all natural wellness and body care products while maintaining a commitment to sustainability, giving back to the community, and educating and empowering low-income and underserved communities of color. With a core focus on combating lifestyle and dietary risk factors contributing towards diabetes, high blood pressure and hypertension, MICOPEIA will be able to achieve this mission by increasing healthy food access in the form of small batch value-added products that use raw agricultural ingredients, while offering supplemental education, resources and supplies/tools.
