Microaid Credit Union

Who we are : MicroAID is a Christian Credit Union established in Burkina Faso by evangelical communities to support development initiatives in Burkina Faso through the provision of financial and non-financial products and services. MicroAID was created in October 2006 but started its operational activities in 2008 after being officially registered in 2007. Our values: Solidarity - Integrity - Respect - Innovation. Our Mission: The mission of MicroAID is to contribute in a sustainable and inclusive way to the holistic development of its members and clients in urban and rural areas through a provision of adapted financial and non-financial products and services without social status, gender or religion-based discrimination. What we do: MicroAID is specialized in savings and loans. The institution promotes small and medium enterprises in the Trade, Education, Agriculture and Livestock sectors. MicroAID has also designed specific loan products for women and for people living with a disability. In its new business plan, MicroAID has expanded its loan products to renewable energies.
