Midas Trading Systems is a registered Commodity Trading Advisor ("CTA") with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC"). Midas Trading Systems was named after King Midas, of Greek mythology. When Midas was a king, his old schoolmaster, the satyr Silenus, went missing. The satyr had wandered away and was found by peasants and brought to King Midas. Midas treated him with politeness and hospitality for ten days, while Silenus told Midas and his companions songs and tales. On the eleventh day, Midas brought Silenus back to his hometown, and the satyr offered him anything he wanted. Midas chose that anything he touched turned to gold. And it was so; he had the 'Midas Touch', and anything he touched turned to gold.
