Midcoast Conservancy

Midcoast Conservancy is an innovative conservation organization that works to protect and restore the vital lands and waters of midcoast Maine on a scale that matters. Serving 28 towns in a 450 square mile area of rural Lincoln, Knox, and Waldo counties, Midcoast Conservancy is now one of the largest conservation organizations in Maine, with over 15,900 acres of land conserved, 56 preserves open to the public, 3 watersheds protected, and members supporting our efforts. We work very collaboratively, in a largely non-hierarchical team environment.
