Middle Earth Orchards Group

The mission of Middle Earth Orchards Group is to provide efficient and dependable equipment, supplies, nursery stock, services and expertise to growers of fresh fruit in Central Asia. MEO Group and our subsidiary Seven Rivers Orchard Trade in Kazakhstan were created in 2009 and draw on 20 years of on-the-ground experience in the non-profit orchard training and development operations of the Harvest Public Fund in Almaty, Kazakhstan. We offer our considerable experience and knowledge of the fruit growing environment in Central Asia to land owners and existing growers who wish to achieve higher returns from new and existing orchard operations in Central Asia. Our multi-national staff draw on local and foreign expertise to apply the latest in growing systems technology from planning and establishment to maintenance, harvest and post-harvest. We are the first to introduce pheromone based pest management in Central Asia and currently operate the first authentic tall spindle apple orchard in Kazakhstan as a demonstration and training location for our clients and their employees. The demo also serves as a testing plot for new locally sourced varieties of apple from Kazakhstan that show promise for both local and foreign markets.
