Midland Eye was founded by four ophthalmic surgeons who wanted to provide patients with a one-stop, specialist service for the diagnosis and treatment of all eye conditions. Midland Eye’s team are leaders in their field and offer a consultant-only service to all patients requiring eye care or surgery. Every consultant is qualified to treat common eye conditions such as cataracts but each one also has a particular area of interest, ensuring that patients get the best possible outcome, no matter what the diagnosis. Private patients can benefit from access to collaborative care and facilities with the latest and best technology and our approach is designed to be convenient for people who lead busy lives and who have limited time to seek medical advice and treatment. We offer laser eye surgery and clear lens exchange for vision correction. At the Midland Eye Hospital we take the prevention and control of infection very seriously. All our staff receive infection prevention and control training and we use evidenced based policies to guide them. We regularly audit our practice to ensure we maintain high standards of quality patient care. Patients are screened for MRSA prior to procedures as appropriate. We have had no cases of MRSA infection.
