The organization aims to strengthen, empower and build the younger generation of the community also through personal and group support that will help them build their adult lives, with the desire to enable them to better integrate into the social fabric in Israel. In 2003, a social movement of young people from the mountain Jewish community (from the Caucasus) began to be organized in the Negev settlements: Sderot and Beer Sheva. The young people developed answers to the challenges and needs of the community. The focus was and still is on children, youth, young people, and the elderly. The young people established educational activity frameworks and community centers and significantly increased the number of young people accessing higher education, alongside building an infrastructure for involvement and social responsibility. Following these successes, the young people decided to replicate the model of involvement in the community and in 2010 founded a national organization:"Generation to generation" to establish and develop community nuclei in the Israel square, solid, stable, and sustainable that influence, involve and promote their environment."From generation to generation" activity focuses on cities where there is a high concentration of the mountain Jewish community. The nuclei are led by coordinators, young local people, who see themselves as committed to social action, promoting the absorption of immigrants and the integration of mountain Jews into the Israeli social fabric. Today, there are 12 centers throughout the country: Beer Sheva, Ofakim, Sderot, Hadera, Pardes Hana-Karkur, Or Akiva, Netanya, Tirat Carmel, Migdal Hamek, Nof HaGalil, Kiryat Yam, Acre.
