Mijpe Art

I am a contemporary artist, I create abstract paintings utilizing mixed media. The paintings are characterised by an external appearance of spontaneity and impulsiveness with a deep inner stratification. Strong compositions with structure, partly removed layers of paint and scratches. The influence of my years of residence in the Kingdom of Bhutan high in the Himalayas and among primitive native American tribes in North America and Mexico are reflected in my work, which, however, never translates into a suggestive figurative expression.
