Mildmay Uganda

Mildmay Uganda is a Local NGO offering Comprehensive Care, Training & Research in HIV/AIDS and other health priorities. Established in 1998. Vision “Communities Transformed for Sustainable Health” Mission Modelling quality and sustainable prevention, care and treatment of HIV and other heath priorities, using a family centred approach together with training, Education and Research. Our Reach With support from PEPFAR through CDC, Mildmay works in partnership with Ministry of Health and the leadership of 16 supported districts of central uganda; Over people tested per year - 10% children Over people in care with 80% on life saving ARVs Supports over OVCs & their families to access care & other services-economic strengthening. Reaching over Children with HIV; Testing Over pregnant women reached annually Supporting over 286 salaried health workers in the region; over trained annually Cervical cancer screening, treatment and palliation; supported 10 sites across Uganda; supported over women to screen to prevent this cancer
