Miliani

Founded in 2010, MILIANI is a full-service 360° agency providing music publishing, artist services, label operations, music supervision, and press relations. The agency supports a wide range of musical expressions, with a strong editorial focus on blues and its derivatives, rooted and world musics, as well as electronic aesthetics influenced by rock’n’roll and jazz. MILIANI is notably the publisher of Martin Dupont, the cult French new-wave band, and Rocío Márquez, the first Spanish artist to be awarded at Les Victoires de la Musique. The agency also collaborates in press relations with international artists such as Rodrigo Cuevas, Silvia Pérez Cruz, and Katia Guerrero. As a label, MILIANI has produced the Swedish blues singer Bror Gunnar Jansson and the American artist William Z. Villain; released David Christie – Disco Collection (25th Anniversary), a double vinyl album featuring analog-remastered recordings by the disco icon; and produced Chansons bachiques au Château du Clos de Vougeot, an album of classics from the French repertoire. The agency is currently preparing the new album of the legendary ensemble Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares. In music supervision, MILIANI represents the acclaimed Catalan producer Raül Refree, oversees and supports the artistic legacy of the late Burkinabé musician Victor Démé, and handled the music supervision for the feature film Les Rascals, directed by Jimmy Laporal-Trésor. The company is a member of leading French and international professional institutions, including SACEM (Société des Auteurs, Compositeurs et Éditeurs de Musique) and the CNM (Centre National de la Musique). MILIANI is also affiliated with the SMA (Syndicat des Musiques Actuelles) and APRES, the French professional union of press officers. Nicolas Miliani previously chaired the Communication Committee of the CSDEM (Chambre Syndicale de l’Édition Musicale) and is a voting member of the Victoires du Jazz & Musique du Monde.
