Defined as “the physical or social setting in which something occurs or develops”, Milieu is an organization committed to providing social and cultural value. Besides doing events of its own, Milieu supports others in the creative cultural sector through collaborations, functioning as a platform where individuals can showcase their ambitions, goals, products and services. Milieu came into existence to fill a specific need: to bring people together as a community, and connect them in a meaningful way. Meaning-making takes the form of connecting creatives, as well as creating an inspiring atmosphere where guests can feel a sense of inclusion, leaving anyone taking part in the events with a lasting, positive impact. Through organizing unique events that are never the same as the last, Milieu strives to produce place-based atmospheres infusing elements of play, music, art, food & drink– where people can embrace the present moment, reconnecting with themselves and those around them.
