Millet Magic Foundation

Millet Magic Foundation is our dream project wherein we will be bringing millet into mainstream market by making products like millet Noodles, Pasta, Papad, Cakes, Cookies etc. and placing it in supermarkets. A state of art food processing unit is being set up giving employment and livelihood & earning opportunities to more than people. This will help in uplifting the lifestyle of the locals who otherwise are dependent on cultivation & making ropes of Sabai grass.To add on all these people working with us are tribal hence, we will not just uplift the productivity of millet but also uplift the lifestyle of tribal by enhancing their income 7 times. The plant would be solar powered & lean towards ‘zero carbon footprint’. The project is coming up in Mohanpur village (near Baripada) of Mayurbhanj District. The 1st foundation brick has been laid and within a year we are geared up to make the project 100% rolling. Next year we will not only make the village Mohanpur self-sustained but also, we will provide health food options to everyone in city areas. We envisage to see a complete social transformation in the coming years, as additional income would bring about a sea change in lifestyle, education, healthcare & social well being of the target population.
