Milliken Developments has developed and owned highly successful shopping centres, urban mixed used developments and, most recently, private pay assisted living and memory care communities. In addition to developing several shopping centres, Milliken Developments has developed 5 city blocks in central Seattle and downtown Bellevue, Washington valued at over $420 million. These urban developments include a combination of large supermarkets, additional retail space, condominiums and rental apartments, and a four star hotel. Milliken's urban developments are unique, inclusive, and progressive mixed-use communities that have anchored and revitalized Seattle's central neighbourhoods. Since 2009, Milliken Development Corporation has focused on the development of high-end, private pay, boutique Assisted Living and Memory Care communities for seniors. The first of these developments, located in Calgary, opened in 2014. The company’s second seniors’ development, Maison West Vancouver, opened in November 2016. Milliken Development Corporation looks forward to developing up to 10 additional seniors’ housing communities in the coming years.
