Welcome. We are a specialised mental health clinic located in Strathfield, Sydney. We are committed to helping our patients find peace of mind and happiness. Mental health is one of the least addressed issues of vital importance. As Diane Abbott says, “Mental health is often missing from public health debates even though it’s critical to wellbeing.” But if we talk about it, it becomes manageable, and anything manageable is less scary. At Mind Oasis, we are a team of Psychiatrist, Pain Specialist, Developmental Paediatrician, Psychologist, ADHD Coach and Physiotherapist, who have come together to create a place of calm and trust. Here, you can find the space and the freedom to be yourself, to talk about your fears and insecurities and seek assurance and advice that can help you lead more fulfilled lives. Our practice was set-up by Dr Charles Chan, a reputed psychiatrist with over a decade’s experience in mental health. Dr Chan has worked with numerous hospitals as the resident psychiatrist, and now setting up his own clinic in Sydney. The objective of Mind Oasis is to bring together, under one roof, various mental health professionals, who could offer holistic and multidisciplinary care to patients. We are one of the handfuls of clinics in Australia where such collaborative mental health care is provided. We see people of all ages – adults, adolescents and children.
