Mind The Waves

Professional swimming brought us together and made us friends. But it’s the journey we’ve shared pursuing our Olympic dreams, that bonded us for life. What we experienced, balancing our training with family, with education, with relationships, with friends, with fatigue, with injury, with wins, and with losses, challenged both our physical and mental health states to the max. However, these kind of struggles are not unique to us, this is stuff every kid faces in daily life. And we think it’s particularly hard here in Hong Kong. It feels like nobody’s interested, nobody’s listening, and there’s no-one to talk to. And if you need help, it can be really hard to find. So, we want to change that. We want to start talking about this stuff, sharing what we’ve learned, introducing you to some of the people we’ve met who can help, and most important of all, share some tips and tricks with you so you can look after yourself better.
