People come to therapy for many different reasons. Perhaps life is difficult or painful in some way and you long for something different but don't know how to go about it. My task is to provide a safe, confidential space in which we can explore, without judgement, the problems that you are experiencing, what you are looking for from the sessions and the most suitable approach for your needs. This may mean that we work short-term (6-12 sessions), toward a clear outcome or we work longer-term in a more open, wide-ranging process of self-discovery. Learning about youself Our work together will offer you ways of developing awareness and insight into how you experience life and what makes you ‘tick’ in different circumstances. The therapeutic process is about exploring wider perspectives of yourself, which give you more flexibility and choices in life.
