Mindset-Do

Welcome to MindSET-do, where we believe that STEM learning should be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to develop student, teacher, parent, and community confidence, knowledge and skills to succeed in STEM and create more diverse and inclusive workplaces in these fields. We have been funded since 2019 and have engaged with over 160 primary schools, and over 50 secondary schools. Our research has found that early positive engagement in inquiry-based, hands-on STEM activities prior to high school, can instil positive self-beliefs in students’ ability and confidence in STEM. Our programs are designed to develop critical and creative thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a growth mindset, all while fostering interest in and aspirations for STEM-related subjects and careers. Our aim is to garner interest in STEM subjects at school, encourage future transition into tertiary studies, support positive growth of STEM occupations and to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders.
