We are a privately owned and operated Electrical Contractor who provide a diverse range of general and specialised electrical contracting services throughout the greater Northern & Central Queensland regions. Established in 1991, we have been offering construction and maintenance services to the Mining, Industrial and Commercial sectors for over 25 years and are a multi award winning company through the Electrical Contractors Association QLD and Master Electricians Australia We operate under a certified HSEQ system (externally audited) and are an accredited Master Electrician, which means our systems and quality of work are of the highest standards and regularly audited. Minelec has a solid reputation throughout the industry as a business with integrity and one that delivers consistently for our customers whether it be a local council asset, a government hospital or an underground mine. The longevity of the company has allowed our people to gain vast levels of experience in the diverse range of sectors we operate, which means we bring a lot to the table for our customers Our head office and workshop are located in Garbutt, the industrial heart of Townsville QLD. The facility consists of a 292 m2 two story office building and 704m2 workshop and warehouse located on a 5959m2 block of land. This facility provides excellent opportunity for hardstand storage and additional office space. The geographical location of the facility also provides a high potential opportunity to function as a central supply, storage & distribution point for operations throughout the region as well as servicing our overseas mining neighbours such as PNG and Indonesia.
