But even trying so hard - through language, through being aware - how many of us have not crashed into a thick brick cultural wall before? … Often we end up staring at these walls, poking holes to peep through. But maybe we should take a step back. Maybe globalization starts from breaking not language nor cultural, but emotional barriers. That instead of racking our brains trying to talk at them - it starts from including them in us. And by doing so understand each “wall” as a mural - with its own history, etchings and personality - and then see the unique person behind it. We at mingl believe that globalization starts from the heart - that before tackling cultural walls we need to dissolve mental blocks.
