Mios Creative founded as a way to better serve businesses of all sizes. It all started when my mother fulfilled her lifelong dream of opening up a restaurant. Ever since I can remember, she has always loved baking and cooking, it was amazing to see her passion come to life. She always wanted to help serve her community and this was how she was going to do just that. Quickly, I realized she needed a way of sharing her story, for her community to see why this was always her dream. There weren’t any video companies in her area that would dive in deep enough to her story to help bring it to life, and at the time, I was only doing photography at the time. Unfortunately her business fell on hard times and eventually she had to close her doors. I share this as lesson learned. It taught me that there are literally thousands if not millions of videographers out there, most of which focus mainly on getting pretty shots and angles, which is great. But not very many dive deep to help businesses grow and succeed, to share their stories, and to help them use video within their companies to help free up time. And this is exactly what I set out to do with Mios. I wanted give companies what I like to call a video business card, a video which helps share their essence and drive. to help companies of all sizes grow and prosper, to not just leave them with a pretty video and have them on their way. I take the time to sit with my clients, to learn how their business operates and to see if video is even the right direction they need to go. Now I get it, not all businesses are alike, each has their own way of doing things, and this is exactly what I want to help with.
