We’re re-designing the functional front contact of silicon solar cells, using attractive designs that are interchangeable and rotatable, to enable custom, large-scale mosaic patterns similar to ceramic tile. This enables solar installations in the many communities and commercial developments who otherwise opt out, due to aesthetic concerns. Our patent-pending innovation uses established materials and manufacturing processes, for similar costs to standard cells. Our cells are compatible with existing panel encapsulation, charging and inverter hardware, and new technologies such as bifacial and multi-junction cells. They can enter production quickly and cost-effectively.
