Misa For Love

Misa 4 Love Foundation is not-for-profit organization that will provide art therapy programs for children with a history of abuse, physical, and mental impairments. The Foundation’s goal is to allow children to express themselves through the use of art. Art therapy is a useful tool for children with learning disabilities, trauma victims, hospitalized children, and the mentally and physically handicap. Some children may lack verbal skills, which inhibit them from expressing themselves and their emotions. Through the use of art therapy, creative expressions are developed and children whose verbal skills are not fully mature can find release through their art and their creations. Misa 4 Love plans to offer classes that will involve a range of children from infants to young adults. Our initial goal is to provide biweekly classes where college students will serve as volunteer head art teachers. High school students will monitor children in classes and assist them in expressing themselves creatively. Misa Art, the program founder, saw a need for children to express themselves creatively and established Misa 4 Love Foundation. Ms. Art graduated from business school in the Czech Republic and moved to the United States and become a well-established artist. Her work can be found throughout the country.
