Misawa & Co, Ltd. is a company mainly engaged in the retail business under the brand name unico. The Company has two business segments. The Unico segment is engaged in the sale of wooden and steel furniture, such as sofas, low tables, audio and visual (AV) boards, chests, cabinets, shelves, dining tables, chairs and beds, among others; fabric goods, such as bed linens, handkerchiefs, pouches and others; interior goods, such as curtains, rugs, lighting goods and clocks, among others, as well as sundries, including dishes, aroma goods and books, among others. The Others segment is engaged in the operation of direct-managed restaurants. As of Jan 31, 2011, the Company had one overseas subsidiary.
