Founded in 1987, Miss Black USA has awarded over in scholarships, opened global doors for women in medicine, law, media, entertainment, and activism, and continues to be a cultural force shaping the future of Black excellence. We exist to amplify voices that have been historically silenced, and to crown purpose over popularity. From grassroots social impact campaigns to televised appearances on networks like BET, Newsweek, USA Today, Essence, Good Morning America, and more—Miss Black USA remains a stage of elevation. Our national finalists aren’t just contestants. They’re scholars, change agents, and cultural influencers using their platforms to shift narratives, build generational wealth, and serve their communities.
