Miss Michigan, lead by front man extraordinaire, writer, producer and hell-raiser Gus Saenz, delivers bombastic, in your face, and unapologetically loud rock & roll.The band amalgamates its greatest influences of 60s and 70s rock & roll, the aggression and minimalistic essence of 70s punk, psychedelia, and modern electronica. Currently based in Miami, Miss Michigan got its start in the underground music scene of New York City's iconic CBGB’s, Squeeze Box, The Boyz Room, and Opaline. The band has recorded and played with multi-instrumentalist Timo Ellis of Netherlands, Yoko Ono, and Cibo Matto, guitarist extraordinaire Andy BlackSugar of Blondie, Peter Murphy, and KMFDM, and drummer Randy Schrager of The Scissor Sisters. As of 2023, Miss Michigan includes guitarist Edward Farhat and drummer Jean-Pierre Espiritusantos.
